Blind Dog Radio

ABOUT

We've been playing the original Delta & Country Blues since 2008.
Blind Dog Radio is an independent non-profit radio station, devoted to broadcasting blues records, mostly from the era of 78 rpm records. We concentrated mainly on Mississippi delta blues and country blues during the heyday of the late 1920s and the early 1930s, with forays into later eras up to the arrival of rhythm and blues in the late 1940s and electric Chicago blues in the early 1950s. Our roster included Big Joe Williams, Charley Patton, Robert Johnson, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Skip James, Bukka White, Son House, Big Bill Broonzy, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Muddy Waters, Mississippi John Hurt, Robert Petway, Tommy McClennan, Bo Carter, Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup, Memphis Minnie, Ishmon Bracey, Fred McDowell, Blind Boy Fuller, Furry Lewis, Willie Brown, Sonny Terry, and many more ...
In 2016, Blind Dog Radio was officially recognized and inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame ® as a Great Blues Radio Station! www.blueshalloffame.com
