Jewell Long (b. June 30th, 1908 in Sealy Texas, d. in 1975) was a blues vocalist, guitarist and pianist.
Long was equally talented at playing guitar and piano but worked all of his life as a laborer. He was recorded by Paul Oliver one summer afternoon at Sealy, TX in 1960, and laid down six songs but only four were issued (released on EP by VJM). Long passed away in 1975. His brother Huey was a guitarist and banjoist and was a member of The Ink Spots from 1944 to 1985.
