Clyde "Judas" Maxwell was filmed at Maxwell's farm in Madison County, Mississippi, September 3, 1978. He also performed at the Mississippi Delta Blues Festival in 1979 at Oxford, Mississippi. In 1980 Axel Küstner photographed him in Camden in 1980. In 1981 Michael Hortig recorded him but only one song was issued. Maxwell passed in 1982.
