When the Ventura County Blues Festival returns this Saturday, festival staple BB Chung King won’t be there in person. But he will surely be there in spirit.
The 11th Annual VC Blues Festival will be dedicated to King as a roster of seasoned blues musicians he knew, top-lined by the Delgado Brothers (winners of the 2016 International Blues Challenge “Best Band” award), honor the late singer, songwriter and producer.
King, who had lived in Burbank, died of a heart attack just three months after playing last year’s festival. He was only 60. READ MORE
