Al Stone, Born in Chicago 1954, has toured the Blues circuit, for over 30 years. Al Stone, Has been inducted into, the Historic,Blues Hall of Fame, (listed under Great Blues Artists and Ambassador to Jacksonville, FL) Al Stone, and The Stone Road Band, performs original blues, blues rock, and funk. Staying true to tradition, Al brings those classic styles together by blending genres, with a fresh new approach. Al Stone, is known for his intimate exchange of energy that builds between himself, his band, and his listening audiences.

Chicago is often called the birthplace of the blues, producing legends like Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters and Jimmy Johnson to name a few. Stones music career has always been influenced by the blues, but it wasn't until an impromptu fill-in gig for an ill Jimmy Johnson at Chicago's famous Kingston Mines that Stone decided to focus on his blues roots merging the rock and blues as one hot style. Al Stone is a natural on stage. His slide guitar playing, reminiscent of Johnny Winter who was a large influence to Al, is second to none.
